'It is a beautiful task to study about God. The human mind can never be employed on any subject so full of rich reward as when trying to find out the knowledge of God. To search after the character and perfection of God is the highest science, the deepest philosophy, the loftiest poetry, the sublimest history, the truest theology and the most thrilling biography,' wrote George D. Watson. This first of a series of messages attempts to consider such topics as God's self-existence and eternity,His independence, His spiritual essence, and His relationship to time. Regarding the last point, C. S. Lewis wrote, 'If you picture Time as a straight line along which we have to travel, then you must picture God as the whole page on which the line is drawn.' No wonder He tells us not to worry about tomorrow. Tomorrow is as present to Him as today is to us. I believe this series will help you have clearer views of God. 'Let him that glories glory in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the Lord.' Jeremiah 9:24
