The Gospel of the Kingdom - Message 76 - My Mother and Brothers - Matthew 12:43-50. Jesus continues to respond to the Pharisees and their accusation that He was casting our demons by the power of the devil. If He was, then there was nothing to replace the demon except self-righteousness and moralism. If this was the case, the demon possessed man was going to end up in worse shape than before. A temporary reformation cannot free one from sins power. With this the crowd thinks Jesus is out of His mind, and his family comes to fetch Him and take Him away. His response is that His family are those who do His Father's will.
