The Ascension of Our Victorious King

After teaching his disciples for forty days, the resurrected Lord Jesus leads them to the Mount of Olives, where they finally display a wholehearted grasp of his true identity. His departure is glorious and marks the triumphant conclusion of his earthly ministry. Entering heaven, he takes his rightful seat on the throne of his father David, where he rules as King of kings and Lord of lords. His disciples worship and obey him, as they wait to be sent off to the nations to proclaim the only name under heaven by which we must be saved!
