Oracle Concerning Egypt

In Isaiah 19:1-20:6, we are shown 3 facets of the oracle
concerning Egypt.
I. Yahweh, the Cloud Rider, will destroy Egypt with
disasters.
A. Yahweh will cause an internal disaster
(19:1-4).
B. Yahweh will cause an economic disaster
(19:5-10).
C. Yahweh will cause a leadership disaster
(19:11-15).

II. In that day, Yahweh will deliver and restore Egypt.
A. Egypt will fear Yahweh (19:16-17).
B. Egypt will trust Yahweh (19:18).
C. Egypt will worship Yahweh.

1. Yahweh will hear and deliver Egypt
   (19:19-20).
2. Yahweh will reveal Himself to Egypt
   (19:21a).
3. Egypt will know and worship Yahweh
   (19:21b-22).

D. Egypt, Assyria, and Judah will all worship
Yahweh together (19:23-25).

III. As Isaiah has walked naked, so will Yahweh judge
Egypt, so trust in Him today (20:1-6)!
