Captivity and Deliverance

The Psalm of deliverance, when the Israelites remembered the time when they were held as captives in Babylon, but King Cyrus proclaimed deliverance. Captivity comes in many forms in life, until we are converted to Christ. Christ is the only eternal deliverer. Once delivered from sin the consequences seem almost like a dream, too good to be true, and yet they are true and very real.
