Double-Mindedness

Why is double-mindedness so common today? The answer is immediately obvious. People love to have it this way and that way. They don't have to be considered religious fanatics among friends and family. And they don't have to leave Christianity behind altogether. They know this would be a sad existence. The double-minded stay on the fence. They get along perfectly with the world and maintain a form of godliness while denying the power thereof. This simply makes it attractive from a worldly perspective; hence, we have all kinds of double-minded people in our churches today.
