What Christians Want

It was the custom in colonial New England for a minister to preach to an assembly of the civil and ecclesiastical leaders at election time. Gathering at the Boston town house, the minister sought through his 'election day' sermon to shed biblical light on the spiritual condition and direction of the colony/nation.
