Look with me at the Marvelous Amazing Astonishing Faith of a soldier who made Jesus Marvel.
Jesus said that he had never seen such great faith as that of the soldier, and God placed this account in Holy Scripture for us to learn from.

If Luke 6 is the Theology and Doctrine of Christ, then Luke 7 is the Practice and application of that Teaching and Theology.

In these verses today we will see how a Gentile lived out by his life and love those things that Jesus said a true believer would be.
Starting with our passage in Luke we see that Jesus entered Capernaum, yet in John 4:46 we read that" So he came again to Cana in Galilee, where he had made the water wine. And at Capernaum there was an official whose son was ill.'

Many will read these passages and they will assume that these accounts are not the same or that the writers were in error, because they want to say well was Jesus in Cana or was he in Capernaum, see you cannot trust the Bible.

Or they will say, was it a slave or a son, see you cannot trust the Bible.

Cana was a town around 20 Miles away from Capernaum, and Cana was where Jesus turned water into wine.
This was going to be the second public miracle which Jesus would do there.
