Submitting to Elders

Peter exhorts the young to submit to the elders in the church. Based on the context, in which Peter has already addressed the elders as shepherds (or pastors), Peter is here exhorting congregation members to submit to their elders/pastors. We will consider the objections and also the consequences for a church that does not submit to God appointed authority in the church.
