A Defense of Closed Communion

For hundreds of years, Baptists have been accused of bigotry or possessing a superior attitude for neglecting to open the Lord's Table to all who would come. Let us answer this charge today.
We do not mean to be hard or cruel, but the historical (though our doctrine is not built upon it) position of the Lord's churches is that the participation in the Lord's Supper is restricted.
