God's Passion for You

Some call this passage "The Parable of the Prodigal Son" but it is more about the lavish love of the father. From these verses the passion our heavenly father has for us is revealed. We also learn that we are not to approach our heavenly Father as a slave laborer, but as a son/daughter. (When we approach Him as a slave laborer, we become angry and resentful of God's grace to others who are lost, just as the older son did.)
