F.A.M.E. (Friends of Africa Missionary Endeavour) Annual Report 2008

374 ( 35 | 339 )

F.A.M.E. (Friends of Africa Missionary Endeavour) is an independent organisation that follows the programme of Evangelism through medicine and other humanitarian aid in remote areas of Eastern Kenya.

There they operate two Medical Clinics, plus an orphanage in Kisumu, Western Kenya.

F.A.M.E. aims to provide:

(1) The Gospel for the Lost,

preaching the great necessity of John 3:7, "Ye Must be born again."

Distribution of Bibles and Christian literature is an important part of F.A.M.E.'s work.

The Livingstone Christian Education Centre is proving its worth. This building enables them to carry on a programme of evangelism of schools and also provides the facilities for church fellowship, Sunday School and youth work.

(2) Food For The Hungry.

A supply of food is kept for the express purpose of providing for those who come in destitution. Many orphan children, the old and the infirm receive sustenance from F.A.M.E. on a weekly basis.

(3) Drugs To Alleviate Pain And Suffering.

F.A.M.E. seeks to make child care a speciality and their maternity unit is at the heart of their medical aid. F.A.M.E. only employs fully trained medical staff.

(4) Homes For The Homeless.

At present F.A.M.E. has an orphanage in Kisumu, Western Kenya and supports an orphanage in Nairobi. While feeding, clothing and educating these children is their aim, their first priority is their spiritual welfare.

If you would like to help F.A.M.E. with their work, please access their details via their own web site:
