Limited Atonement, Part 2

When Christ died 'for our sins,' he did so in our place, as our substitute. When Christ reconciled us he did not make us 'reconcilable,' he RECONCILED us! When he redeemed us He did not make us 'redeemable,' he REDEEMED us! What does propitiation mean?

14 minute Q & A session at the end includes answering the 'Rock of Gibralter' for the Arminian, 1 John 2:2, 'And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.'

Known by many for his ability to graciously explain the doctrines of grace in plain speech, John Reisinger blessed our congregation and visitors. Five messages were delivered during the '2004 Doctrines of Grace Conference.' Notes that are referenced during the messages are available for download (and are encouraged) at Church's website (follow the outside link).
