The Mortification of the Flesh Conclusion (Chapter 10)

Chapter Ten Specific directions for a few especially difficult sins. I come now to give you some special helps to use against a few corruptions in particular. In the last chapter I gave you some general directions on how to mortify your bosom sin, but now I will give you more specific advice on how to mortify three notable corruptions, namely, unclean lusts, spiritual pride, and reigning anger. I cannot think of any other corruptions that more commonly make incursion into the minds of men than these three.
