At the Frederick Rescue Mission, they say that every program and service is driven by the desire to introduce people to Jesus Christ. Their method to this end is to meet basic human needs and equip others to do the same. The Rescue Mission is privately funded, utilizing donations from the community to operate all of its programs and services. This week we talk a bit more specifically about the parachurch organization that is the Rescue Mission.
The panel:
Troy Skinner. 930 WFMD Host/Moderator of The Faith Debate.
Arnold Farlow. Executive Director of The Frederick Rescue Mission.
Terri Gray. Director of Faith House.
Note: During this season of The Faith Debate there was an employ at the radio station learning how to upload the radio show as a podcast. As result, there are a handful of programs that have a bit of missing audio and/or additional audio. This episode is an example of this. If you like, skip past the first minute of this podcast to get past some news and weather and go directly to the start of the show. The very tail end of the show is clipped, as well. Hopefully this will not prove to be too much of a distraction to you.
