Discerning and Identifying False Teachers

Big Idea:
• Because we are made godly by the work of Christ, we should protect the church and ourselves by being discerning and identifying error and false teachers, who pervert the mystery of godliness, sound doctrine, and the words of Christ.

3 Identifications of False Teachers:
• They Teach Corrupt Doctrine Contrary to Christ and his Word
• They Have Corrupt Attitudes and Minds
• Their Motive for teaching is for Personal Gain
