The Letters of John

This morning we begin a new sermon series examining the Letters of John. Even
though this first letter does not identify who is writing it, the traditional understanding of
the church is that it comes from the pen of John, Jesus' "beloved disciple," the son of
Zebedee. We begin our study with:

1. A brief historical introduction.

2. The reliability of the Apostolic Testimony.

3. The false claims of the Sinner.
