Strength and Courage to Act

The young King Asa had shown faithfulness to the Lord when a very large and powerful army came against Judah. In one of the few times recorded in Scripture that a prophet addressed someone for faithfulness rather than sin, Azariah addressed Asa with some principles for godly living. Those principles are worth our notice today but they must not be mere platitudes. We are to act on them with strength and courage.
