Mutilated or Circumcised?!

Paul characterizes those who are of the true circumcision in the following three ways:

1. We worship God in the Spirit. The Holy Spirit moves in our lives, and we respond in love and service toward God.

2. We rejoice in Christ Jesus. Jesus has made us acceptable to God. We find our satisfaction and joy in His finished work for us.

3. We have no confidence in the flesh. Our confidence is not in anything that we are able to physically do to make us acceptable to God. Rather, it is in Jesus Christ and what He has done for us.
