Jesus' Appearance in Galilee - Commissioning Peter

After the group finished breakfast, Jesus apparently took Peter aside to speak with him privately. The conversation focused on Peter's future role and so also his restoration according to the Lord's promise to him (Luke 22:31-32). When Peter was restored, he was to shepherd Jesus' sheep and one aspect of this was strengthening his brothers. But ultimately this work depended upon his love for his Lord, for it was to be the outflow of it.
