How God Energized His People

They returned from Babylon to rebuild their lives by establishing their hearts and lives on the worship of God. But, despite their fervent start, opposition came, and the work on the temple was stopped for 16 years. At the end of these sixteen years, God sends two prophets to rescue His people from their situation. The prophets Haggai and Zechariah call them to repentance and to resume the work. They explain that God is with them.
