Liberated to Love

Satan works tirelessly to disrupt our friendship with God, and our unity with one another. Have you noticed? By nature, sinful people like us fall prey to his schemes; we’re born enslaved to a life of rebellion against God and selfishness toward others. Jesus came to destroy the devil’s work. He has loosed Satan’s grip on us, liberating us to love as God loves. “We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren.” 1 John 3:14 (NKJV) God graciously plants the seed of His love in the heart of every one of His children, empowering us to choose selflessness and sacrifice in relationships. Choosing love is the hallmark of true believers.
