Christ Our Willing Sacrifice

Here the writer asserts the incarnation of Christ who took not upon Himself the nature of angels, but achieved the seed of Abraham. He now shows us the reason and design of His incarnation in flesh to be the Surety of His chosen people. He passed by all the fallen angels and laid hold on Abraham's children of faith. The hand of God reached down in Christ and redeemed His covenant people by atonement and justification.
