Revive Us, O God! (Part 1)

This sermon focuses on the situation of Judah before the revival.

1. Spiritually, Judah was very corrupt--under the wicked king Ahaz.
2. Militarily, Judah was very weak.
3. Economically, Judah was very poor.
4. Politically, Judah was very shameful.

Rodney “Gipsy” Smith (1860-1947), the English evangelist, was once asked the secret of revival. His reply: “Go home. Take a piece of chalk. Draw a circle around yourself. Then pray, ‘O Lord, revive everything inside this circle.’”
