1. In the day of adversity...grow
   *Remember the importance of a good name
   *Remember the importance of honest criticism
   *Remember the importance of a patient spirit
   *Remember the importance of living today
2. Be wise
   *Strength to handle unfairness
   *Strength to handle criticism
   *Strength to handle temptations
3. Consider God
   *He gives us reason to rejoice
   *He appoints our struggles and our joys
   *He wants us to walk by faith
