The Need for Love

The need to be loved, heard, and held... gleanings from an unloved wife.

When DOING and GIVING and SACRIFICING will not buy you someone's love. This sweet place of SURRENDER helps position us to recognize the right One who has noticed you and your needs. This POSITION has the potential and probability to shift your praise and adoration upon Him.

A little excerpt from the message:

"Genesis 29:31 "When the Lord saw that Leah was unloved, (now the Lord recognized it because he knew everything and he knew what was in Jacob's heart). God and His mercies opened her womb, but Rachel was barren. So Leah conceived and bore a son and she called his name, Ruben for she said, "The Lord has surely looked on my affliction. Now, therefore, my husband will love me. He'll see me because I've been able to give him a son. So he's going to love me because he sees what I can provide for him." All right, then, in verse 33, she conceived again and bore a son and said, because the Lord has heard that I am not loved. What? So she's still in a position where she doesn't feel loved because she's not loved like Rachel is loved. And she knows it. And this is her sister to boot. So this makes it even more of a difficulty, more of a challenge. And she says, The Lord has given me a son also, and I shall name him Simon, because not only will he see me, but now my husband will also hear me. He'll hear my love for him. So she gives him another son, Simon, but it doesn't work. So this is what she does. She conceived again and bore a son. Now
