When people are convinced that God and His ways are too much they'll always settle on on a convenient substitute.

Jeroboam planted the "too much" seed and it took deep root and blossomed for several hundred years.

When God's way is "too much" we'll always settle for a counterfeit... and before we know it, the counterfeit becomes the only thing we know.

Don't let anyone sell you a counterfeit way of life... because God's way is "too much"! You can't afford the consequences... you're better off investing in the authentic ways of God, no matter the cost.

"It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem. Here is a "better and more trustworthy way..." (1 Kings 12:28).
