Departing the Faith

After the affirmation that the church is the pillar and ground of truth, Paul gives the warning that there will be men who challenge this truth. In the latter times, which have already come, there will be pastors and lay man alike who will be enamored with doctrines of demons and have their consciences seared. God's people must know the Scriptures in order to inoculate themselves from any challenges to it.
