As a part of religious worship, there are times when Christians ought to engage in specific oaths and vows. Oaths are made, with God as the witness, in order to settle weight matters of truth. Vows are either good deeds or certain seasons of restrain and are to be performed to God alone out of thanksgiving. For any oath and vow, Christians ought to be discriminate, sober-minded, and God-honoring.
