Apostacy of Prophet, Priest & Ruler

Jeremiah was faced with a drastic situation as the Nation of Israel had turned away from "the faith once delivered unto the saints", and had taken up the worship of Ba'al. We may not be a Theocracy but the church of Jesus Christ is also facing a drastic situation of apostacy. Many are turning way from the faith "once delivered unto the saints". Where are the Jeremiahs of our day to warn the nation of impending doom? Judgement in the case of Israel would entend for a protracted period of time. Perhaps we face the same!!!
