Death Unto Sin

In this message, we are looking at the theme of what it means for a justified believer to be "dead to sin."

1. This theme introduced
   To be dead to sin does not mean we are not affected by sin. Because of our death to sin you will no longer live in sin

2. This theme examined

• our death to sin is paralleled with Christ's death to sin
• our death to sin is in union with Christ's death unto sin
• our death to sin is unto newness of life unto God

3. This theme applied
   For the true believer sin remains, yet it does not remain. The reign and dominion of sin is broken through Christ's death on the cross.
