Leaving Laban's school

Our chapter picks up twenty years after Jacob the trickster has enrolled in his uncle Laban's school of deception. Here we find that every time Jacob has tried to pull a fast one, Laban changed the rules. Now the time has come for Jacob to move along and go home. Rachel provides us with an example of a worldly Christian who tries to take some little sins along for the ride and causes additional problems that could have been avoided. In the end though God did extend His help to Jacob and protected his whole house.
