Glorying in the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ

There are many glorious things in the universe, but nothing can hold a candle to the glorious cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, His vicarious suffering and His substitutionary death for His elect. As God's people we are called to glory in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, not our favorite commentator or saint of days gone by. Nothing surpasses the value and benefit of glorying in Christ's sacrifice for sin in all the world.
