The Master Is EVIL?! If you believe that one you've got another thing comin'

197

During the pregame show pastor reads a wonderful letter from Sharron from Texas. Sharron, thank you. You made us all laugh.

Today pastor says we're doing Talents and Abilities. This is one of the parables of Matthew 24 and 25.

All the parables have these things in common.
Wisdom / Wickedness
Delay / Depart
Account

We also have:

  1. Food
  2. Oil
  3. Talent

Consider it like this:
Food + Oil + Talent = ? (or Who)
They are not the same but additive.

Many churches today will have the opinion of the evil slave, that Master, God, is evil. Also consider Romans 1:18-23. There are men who will suppress the truth. Just like the evil slave in the parable of the talents.

One more thing you'll find in all of these parables is Premeditation. All the evil ones have thought thru what they do and are creating a straw man to set up the Master as evil. They think they can be evil without judgment. They will say He is not able to end sin, and they say He is not willing to end sin.

Because of the recommendation of our very own Bill “the cow”, pastor will now go into Jeremiah 13 as the Old Testament complement to the Matthew 24-25 parables.

Here you have:

  1. Linen Sash - Hidden
  2. Profitable for nothing
  3. Buy
  4. Beautiful
  5. Priest sash
  6. Don't put it in Water
  7. Long Delay / Departure

God wrote both of these passages. Pastor expands greatly here, so I'll stop typing. This is great stuff. Enjoy.

And, as always, we encourage you to get in touch with our pastor with questions you may have and of course we also ask that you encourage him in this work if you feel so inclined. So call or write him. He’d be happy to talk with you.
