Stop Blaming the Conspiracy

We find so many of Israel's sins in our own nation. There is innocent bloodshedding, theft, bribery, injustice, oppression, overriding of the helpless people's rights by the government and the strong. There is also a surfeit of foolishness, gross materialism, narcissism, overt decadence and public immorality. Our government has been overtaken by ignorant and incompetent persons, babes and fools, who are running everything they touch into the ground.

God warned Isaiah that His people were not to blame the conspiracy against Israel, but rather they were to fear Him, and to trust in Him, and to repent unto Him of their own evil ways.

Our politics is totally driven by fear of the "other," while we neglect to consider the evil of our own country, or our own political faction, or even of our own hearts.

Thus, there is hysteria over the "Muslim threat," when America has killed a hundred times more innocent Muslims then they have of us, and tens of thousands of times more innocent babies as well.

Or, there is the hysteria over Obama and the Democrats, destroying America, when we ought to consider the destruction wrought by Republican politicans in exploding the national debt and shedding innocent blood.

In the end, God's Word commands us to stop fixating on the evils of others, and focus on our own side's wickedness. That is what we must repent of, that is what we must repudiate.

Thus, we must not vote for evil in order to overcome evil. Rather, we must vote for lawfulness and righteousness, else we make matters worse by adding to the evil that already engulfs us.

Christ is a refuge to all who trust in Him. Rather than blame us, He took our blame at Calvary!
