Anabaptism (1st lecture)

This course will approach Anabaptist theology and practice from the perspective of the historical development of Anabaptism in the sixteenth century. Attention will be paid to the interaction of Anabaptist teachers with the leading Continental Reformers: Luther, Zwingli and Calvin. Through a study of representative Anabaptist texts attention will be paid to teaching in the areas of Christology, soteriology and ecclesiology. (9 lectures)
