Do Not Covet

The 10th Commandment shows how God expects nothing less than absolute perfection in our obedience of His Commandment, both outwardly and inwardly. The 10th Commandment really lies at the heart of all the other commandments, and was the root of even the first sin which plunged mankind into sin and misery. Yet, we are saved from our sin because Jesus rightly desired us, and so He fulfilled this Command, as He did all of them, as our representative.
