This 14th chapter is a continuation of the things which the LORD commanded His people. The LORD alone determines who His people are & what they should or should not do. Here He commands Israel not to disfigure their bodies, against eating certain meats and to yearly rejoice with a tithe of all their increase before Him. Who would deny that the Gentile world had powerful sway upon Israel? But is it so different for Christians today?
