LD 19 - The King Will Return

Where is God in the midst of my pain? Why doesn't God come to us when we need him most? Why doesn't he do anything about my problems? Is it worth it to struggle against sin when no one really seems to care? Why does God allow injustice to go unpunished? You might not be asking these questions now. But some of your friends are. And you might be some day.

These are questions that get to the essence of man's relationship to God in a fallen world. And these questions can be answered with divine revelation; our wavering lives can meet unshifting truth.

The Catechism helps us understand two biblical doctrines that can be immensely comforting when we ask our hardest questions.
