James 012 - Faith Without Works Is Dead?, Pt 1

In James session 012, “Faith Without Works is Dead?”, Dr. Andy Woods continues his progression through the Book of James and arrives at James 2:14-26. Is James here teaching that if you do not have enough good works as a Christian then your initial faith was illusory, inauthentic, or spurious? Or, rather, is James addressing something entirely different? Is James instead dealing with the productivity and usefulness of the believer's faith rather than second guessing its existence in the first place?
