B. God's hardening of Israel had a purpose: to include the gentiles

  2. Cutting off a few to graft the many
  3. Temporarily hindering entrance to a few to open the gates to many

C. Eschatological remarks

  1. God will bring restoration to a remnant of ethnic Israel at the coming of Christ
