God's Reassuring Grace

David had a clear and distinct promise from God that he was going to succeed Saul as king of Israel. But his circumstances made that promise seem impossible. Sometimes our circumstances make the promises of God seem uncertain and difficult to believe. This chapter shows what God did for David , and in doing so, urges us to believe God has resources for us in our times of trial.
1-God gave David some things that could only be associated with royalty.
2-God sent Jonathan to visit him.
3-God gave David protection from Saul.
