Pretending To Be Christian. Who in their right mind would preach on this?!

302

Today our pastor is going to attempt to get thru the parable of the 5 foolish bridesmaids.

But... of course, our pastor is going to take a few planned rabbit trails. I.E., A great discussion on Modernism. These people will never tell you the consequences of their teaching. Why do they want to take away the deity of Christ? And the rant continues. Now pastor gets into Sheep and Goats. Is there middle ground between goats and sheep? Jesus says, No. Revelation 3:16, if you claim to be lukewarm, I will vomit you out.

First, Pastor compares all three parables. All have this Delaying element. All the good servants prepare. All the evil servants are always caught.

  1. Master Comes
  2. Leaves
  3. Returns

When He leaves, people's true selves come out. The Evil Ones... They think they don't have to watch.

He leaves to make sure all have free will. No free will = no solution to sin = God is evil. Does the man believe in an accounting? Does he believe in the goodness of God?

Now pastor reads us the parable of the virgins, Matthew 25:1-13.
Now the list maker is going to list:

  1. Took no oil (Got lamps but no oil)
  2. Slumbered/Slept
  3. All Arose and Lit Lamps
  4. Gime Dat... Your Oil. Because our lamps are going out. (Is that: Lie? or Truth?)
  5. NO! Go to those that sell and buy oil (can you buy oil?) [Go to them who will say they can sell you salvation.]
  6. Went
  7. Lord, Lord, Open

Pastor reads Matthew 7:21-23. And in closing we go to Luke 13:22-41. There are going to be people who pretend, people who lie.

After you listen, you’ll have questions. It’s okay to call or write this pastor, so feel free.
