Persecution of Churches in Modern Times and Ancient Times and the Glory of Christ

Parallels between the U.S. and 1930s Germany have been brought up by an author of a bestselling biography of Dietrich Bonhoeffer and a pastor in Houston who was part of the subpoena and has a unique perspective as someone who grew up in communist Vietnam and saw the progression in his country before he fled to America for freedom of speech and religion. Many around the world are experienced much greater persecution, but there is much we can learn from the history of the 7 churches in Revelation 2-3 and how the Lord sustained them and prepared others for greater persecution to come in the future.
