What Does GOD Expect From His Children

Intro
-In the first 3 verses we saw the world in sin is abominable
-But GOD

Tonight we will look at 4 things about salvation

1 What GOD Did
-Raised us up and made us sit together in high places in Christ
-We now have a Heavenly citizenship
-Authority in Christ

2 Why GOD Did It
-To illustrate visibly forever the present exceeding greatness of His grace through Christ
-We are trophies of GOD's grace for eternity

3 How GOD Did It
-By Grace
-GOD's grace (favor you did not deserve)
-The channel is faith
-Knowing, believing, trusting
-Not of you -Not of works -The gift of GOD

4 What GOD Expects of Those that He Saves
-To do the good Works that he has planned
-Good works are not meritorious, Nor do they involve breaking GOD's law

-The Bible (Holy Scripture) is GOD's word
-To do this is good works as GOD alone is good, therefore He is the only measure of goodness
