Eternal Security and The Nature of Our Salvation

A clear understanding of the nature of our salvation leads to one and only one conclusion – God has granted us eternal life. God's offer of salvation is by it's very nature eternal and cannot be lost under any circumstances. Without a firm grasp of both the nature of salvation and security both the disciplines of discipleship and the ministry of making disciples descends to the daily grind of dead works done both as a means of getting God to love us and a means of securing something which we did not earn and which cannot be lost. Nothing could be further from the true meaning of both discipleship and Disciplemaking.
