Christ The Center

The Wheel Illustration is the basic Discipleship Illustration for the Navigators. It is critical though when teaching the Wheel for Christ to remain the center, the central feature. It is all too easy for the disciplines of Word, Prayer, Witnessing and Fellowship to become freestanding disciplines existing apart from the Lordship of Christ and the great doctrines of salivation. Satan, the world the flesh and the Bible all want the disicplesmaker to lay aside the divisiveness of Christ and emphasize the disciplines apart from the person of Christ. It is imperative for the Disciple maker to resist this trend and this begins with a thorough understanding of Christ and the great doctrines of salvation which place Him as the center of the Christians spiritual life.
