Rest in Peace and Worship

Too often today, people think of worship as something they do in their spare time on Sunday. But God put worship at the very center of Israelite society. That is what worship should be to the Christian, something at the heart of his being.

God also promised the Israelites temporal rest and peace in the land He had promised them, and that promise was made good - but those blessings are designed to point forward to our final and perfect peace that will occur when Jesus returns.

Then and only then will we truly Rest in Peace and Worship!
