22) The Good Kind of Boasting - James 1:9-11

There are only two commands in James 1:9-11, and they are both the same: boast. James commands one group of people to boast, then he commands someone else to boast. That sounds strange to our ears because in English, boasting just means bragging, and there's nothing good about bragging. But the biblical word translated boast is something different. Every human being boasts in something, and the way you boast and the things you boast in will make all the difference in what direction your life goes.
