The 1st Tithing Sermon. Abram gave Melchizedek a tithe. So, who is Melchizedek?

Genesis 14 is the place of Melchizedek. Here we have a meeting between Abram and Melchizedek and the real king of Sodom; the king of wickedness. Now, who is that really? And who is Melchizedek? He is the King of Salem. Wait, doesn't Salem mean Peace? He's also the Priest of God Most High. Wait... you can't be both the King and the Priest. It's forbidden in Mosaic Law. And look, He brings bread and wine. But then, the king of Sodom says to Abram, "Give me the persons, and take the goods for yourself." What were these "goods"?

This testing is paralleled in Matthew 4. Can Jesus Christ, The Almighty God, be tempted? This is a testing, but most have a peccable view of Christ. We have the impeccable view. I'll let pastor Chronister fill you in here.

Satan and Sodom both have nothing to give. God – Jesus Christ – Is The Possessor of All things. And all means all. Satan's nothing is the 8th Mystery (of the 11 Mysteries – which we're all supposed to know). It's a poker game and Satan is bluffing, because he has nothing. What is Satan attempting to accomplish? How's he doing? He's doing really well. How is that so? Look at the battle of Armageddon. He's got thousands supporting him.

Matthew 12 is an even better example of a parallel to Genesis 14. It's a courtroom... Okay, I'll need to let pastor explain this.

Okay, now let's go to Matthew 25, The Olivet Discourse. Look at the 5th Parable. The Parable of the Talents. Who is the Master here? Who is the wicked servant? Now we're back in Genesis 14. And I'm out of space here, so you'll just have to let our pastor delve into this with you.
